Personalised approaches have far-reaching implications for health industry along the whole value chain. This is partially due to specific development challenges, but also due to market access and reimbursement uncertainties. The conference aims to identify and discuss challenges and barriers encountered from the perspective of Health Industry, large incumbents as well as SME.

May 19^th 2021 - Translational Ecosystems

The two-workshop series aims to explore how European regions can support personalising Health Industry. Regions play an important role in enabling and facilitating private economic activity as industry is always embedded in regional innovation, economic, and social systems especially in the case of SMEs. The 1st event (April 28th) will focus on how the regional R&D ecosystem can support Personalising Health Industry by showcasing best practices from the Free State of Saxony with a special focus on advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMP). In the 2nd event (May 19th) de-risking of entrepreneurship and translation in personalised medicine health shall be discussed.
